Last night's London Evening Standard featured a story on Bell Pottinger Chairman Peter Bingle (pictured), who has been banned from London club Soho House for wearing a tie. The ban has been described as "Stalinist" by Mr Bingle, who has also labelled the whole affair as "Tiegate". Mr Bingle has our full support - we can't think of a situation where wearing a tie would be inappropriate.

Tiegate
