Prime minister Gordon Brown and England footballing hero David Beckham met yesterday at The David Beckham Academy in London. Of course the real story here is that both men wore ties, but there was other business at hand also.Beckham told Brown, during a guided tour of the academy, of his interest in helping England in its bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
