Wayne Rooney's Magic Gloves

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney has credited his outstanding recent form to his lucky black gloves, according to a report in The Sun.

Rooney has been enjoying his best ever season with the Red Devils, bagging over 30 goals already this season - the biggest haul of his career.

And a source at Old Trafford told the newspaper that he believes his lucky gloves have helped him on his way - so much so that he is set to keep them on even as Britain comes out of a cold winter into a mild spring. Read full story at Yahoo Eurosport.

Fancy a pair of lucky gloves yourself? You won't need to be on Premier League wages... you can get a free pair of magic gloves from Ties Planet!

Further snow is set to fall throughout Britain during the next 24 hours as weather forecasters predict the big freeze will continue well into next week.

2010 - The Year of The Cravat

2010 is set to be the year of the cravat. The garment was brought back to the world's attention in 2009 with a steady stream of celebrities sporting the casual day cravat.

David Beckham, Ashton Kutcher, Jude Law and Robbie Williams - to name a few - were all snapped wearing cravats as they went about their high profile business.

Tiesplanet.com's Andrew Bragg says, 'The start of the new decade is set to see the cravat rise to real prominence as men continue to copy the looks of celebrities.

'Accessorising is a great cost-effective way of doing so... and we're inviting everyone to join the cravat movement!'

Classy range of casual day cravats available from Ties Planet, all priced at £14.99.

X Factor Tie Watch - Live Show 6 Weekend

Lloyd Daniels may have been forced to sing-off on tonight's The X Factor results show, but he was still the weekend's winner in our eyes.

Yes, you've guessed it the Welsh singer wore a tie for his performance. A skinny tie in fact. You may also have been mesmerised by Lloyd's red and black checked shirt. It certainly caught our eye as not only do we think it was one heck of a shirt... we also have the black and red checked skinny tie and cap to match!

See you next week for more exciting X-Factor tie news.

X Factor Tie Watch - Live Show 5

Olly Murs clearly took heed of our advice from last week and wore a tie for tonight's live show. Murs donned a black skinny tie as he performed the old classic 'Twist and Shout'.

It was a skinny tie night as host Dermot O'Leary and Irish judge Louis Walsh watched on with thin ties around their necks. We thought Louis looked particularly suave in a super skinny tie.

Want a skinny tie of your own? Check out our great range today...
