London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is in full flow and we are watching with interest.

Wednesday sees a dedicated Menswear Day and as you may have guessed, we will be on the lookout for the latest trends in neckwear. We fully expect skinny ties to remain in fashion and are at the cutting edge of this item, supplying a wider range of skinny and narrow ties than you will find anywhere else.

Bow ties could also be high on the agenda and John Paul Gaultier was said to be heavily influenced by James Bond at the recent Paris Fashion Show, featuring a timeless black bow tie.

Special Six Nations Rugby Section Added to Tiesplanet.com

After just two games in the Six Nations it has already developed into a two horse race between England and France. The crunch match between the two takes place on 26th February and by the end of a tough 80 minutes that evening we should have a hot favourite to lift the trophy. Chris Ashton looks to have the award for top try scorer wrapped up unless another player can emulate his heroic displays, having scored half a dozen tries already.

However, there is plenty of rugby left to play and if you want to look your best to support your favourite country then look no further than tiesplanet.com!!!We have added a dedicated Six Nations section with ties, cufflinks, socks, hankies, tie bars and sets to choose from.

As a special offer to blog readers we are also offering SIX POUNDS off when you spend £25 or more before the end of the tournament - simply enter the discount coupon code 'UNION' at checkout and £6 will be deducted from the cost of your order.

Veteran actor Larry Hagman has finally signed a deal to appear in the upcoming remake of Dallas. Hagman played J.R. Ewing in the original production, which spanned 3 decades from 1978 to 1991, and has been persuaded to return to the role by TNT.

So how should you celebrate this news?! Well guess what? We stock a Dallas purse which will have all your friends talking if you buy one:
