It is the 4th of July, which our friends in the USA know as Independence Day. We are big fans of patriotism and no matter where you are from we try to stock a few items which help you show pride in your country of origin.

Obama Sworn In As 44th U.S. President

Today was Barack Obama's inauguration day and the 44th U.S. President chose to wear a patterned red tie for his big day. OK, it probably wasn't his greatest concern, but his choice of tie was always going to be the most pressing matter for us at Tiesplanet.com!

As promised we will be making regular reviews of Obama's ties during his time in office... and there is no better day to start than day one.
