Six Nations Continues

This weekend saw the second round of Six Nations matches. Well almost... England edged a win in Italy and Wales saw off a mini fightback from Scotland but the game between France and Wales was postponed due to the weather.

At least that will allow more opportunity for fans to wear one of these Silk Rugby Novelty Ties, available at TiesPlanet.com.

Special Six Nations Rugby Section Added to Tiesplanet.com

After just two games in the Six Nations it has already developed into a two horse race between England and France. The crunch match between the two takes place on 26th February and by the end of a tough 80 minutes that evening we should have a hot favourite to lift the trophy. Chris Ashton looks to have the award for top try scorer wrapped up unless another player can emulate his heroic displays, having scored half a dozen tries already.

However, there is plenty of rugby left to play and if you want to look your best to support your favourite country then look no further than tiesplanet.com!!!We have added a dedicated Six Nations section with ties, cufflinks, socks, hankies, tie bars and sets to choose from.

As a special offer to blog readers we are also offering SIX POUNDS off when you spend £25 or more before the end of the tournament - simply enter the discount coupon code 'UNION' at checkout and £6 will be deducted from the cost of your order.

England Rugby Union World Cup Chances Compromised?

England's rugby union squad jetted off to France today for the 2007 World Cup. And on the day former captain Lawrence Dallaglio hinted at a drop in standards by the English RFU since the last tournament, the defending champions posed for photos at Heathrow Airport without a certain something they had last time.

The World Cup Trophy? Well, they couldn't have won that yet to be fair.

A great coach or captain? That is open to debate.

Ties? You are correct. The national rugby union team, representing our great nation appeared wearing open neck shirts. The great winners of the last World Cup can be seen here wearing their smart ties whilst on the victory parade around London... England 2003 World Cup Winners Celebrate Wearing Ties

Can the non-tie wearing squad of 2007 live up to Sir Clive Woodward's 2003 champions? We will see.
